A good design starts with a good conversation.

We take the time to get to know you and find out exactly what you need- even if you’re not quite sure yourself at first. We let you know what your options are: from the lowest cost solutions to the most involved. And we’ll let you know the advantages and disadvantages of using certain metals and certain stones. If you’re on a tight budget, we’ll suggest alternative materials and design elements that can reduce the price. Ultimately, we want you to be happy.

Once we’ve gotten a basic idea of what you want, we’ll sketch out some options with you. Sometimes we nail it on the first sketch. Sometimes it takes several sketches to get the right look. The important thing is making sure the piece we make for you is exactly what you want.

Once we’ve decided on the design and the material, then comes the fun part- actually making the piece. In some cases we’ll start with wax and carve out and cast a design. In other cases it makes sense to fabricate the design from cut pieces of metal. We’ll discuss the options with you and let you know which ones are possible and which one we recommend.
